The façade of this splendid palace, built in the central square of this town, is adorned with numerous stone and glazed ceramic coats of arms, while the interior walls are decorated with 14C-15C frescoes of religious scenes and coats of arms.

This church, opposite the Palazzo Pretorio, is well worth a visit, not only for its delicately worked marble sculptures on either side of the high altar, but also for a tabernacle by Mino da Fiesole and a tondo (round painting) of the Madonna and ..

Next door to the church, this oratory contains a small Gothic shrine with wreathed columns containing a Madonna and Child by Jacopo del Casentino. The Madonna of the Square is held in great veneration by the locals of Scarperia.
