Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art star : The Michelin guide review

The Veletrzni Palace, an immense concrete and glass building designed by O. Tyl and J. Fuchs in 1924, was initially intended for industrial exhibitions. The Nazis used it as a provisional detention centre for Jews, and the Communists turned it into a store reserved for the nomenklatura. The Palace caught fire in 1974 and was left to ruin until it was saved by the decision to house modern and contemporary collections from the Sternberg Palace.
