Kampa Museum - Janet - Meda-Mládek Foundation star : The Michelin guide review

While in exile in the United States during the years of the Communist regime, Jan and Meda Mládek assembled a large collection of 20C Czech art, supporting young artists persecuted by the regime. This beautiful museum, housed in a former mill on the banks of the Vltava River, contains a fine collection of works by living artists. Several rooms are devoted to two major 20C Czech artists: sculptor Otto Gutfreund (1889-1927) and painter Frantisek Kupka (1871-1957).
