Clam-Gallas Palace star : The Michelin guide review

Clam-Gallas Palace was built between 1713 and 1719 by architect Bernhard Fischer von Erlach for Johann Wenzel, Count Gallas. This Baroque building is one of the grandest in the Old Town. The statues on the façade, including two pairs of Atlantes supporting the porches, are by Mathias Bernard Braun, the greatest sculptor in Prague. The palace now houses the city’s archives. Concerts are sometimes given in one of the magnificent rooms, and temporary exhibitions are held here on a regular basis.
