Church of St. Francis : The Michelin guide review

A masterpiece of Baroque religious architecture, the Church of St. Francis was built between 1679 and 1689 by French architect Jean-Baptiste Mathey - who designed many buildings in Malá Strana – assisted by Italian Carlo Lurago. The central dome completes the perspective created by the bridge towers and the dome of the Church of St. Nicholas in Malá Strana. Walking north on Krizovnická, note the Secession façade of the small church adjacent to St. Francis.
