Church of Ste Marie des Anges : The Michelin guide review

This convent church was begun in 1499 and has three of the finest frescos by Bernardo Luini (c. 1480-1532). The most impressive fresco decorates the enclosure separating the choir from the nave and shows the Passion. In the first chapel to the right, a fresco of the Virgin and Child and St John comes from the cloister. In the nave, there is a Last Supper.
