Plaza de la Seo and Plaza del Pilar : The Michelin guide review

These two squares form a vast esplanade on the River Ebro and are the setting for Zaragosa’s finest monuments: the Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar and the Seo or Cathedral of San Salvador. They are also a popular evening meeting point for the locals, and where pilgrims gather during the Pilar religious festival. The fountain at the far west end, the Fuente de la Hispanidad, represents Latin America. The other fountain in front of the Lonya (Exchange) is dedicated to Goya.
