Majorca Museum : The Michelin guide review

The museum is notable for its 14C and 15C Majorcan paintings. The master of Privileges, influenced by the miniatures of Sienna, dominates among the earliest artists. Much later, Ramon Destorrents and the master of Bishop Galiana drew inspiration from the Catalan school. Saint George by Francesc Comesc, with its great depth, shows art at the peak of its powers. The museum also includes a small section devoted to relics of the Moslem period.
