Travel guide Palma de Majorca
Palma de Majorca
: The Michelin guide review
Dominated by its cathedral, with its constantly changing colours, Palma de Mallorca has two different aspects to it. On the one hand, it is a modern resort town with 20km of coastline lined by hotels; on the other, it has a historical quarter dotted with typical Mallorcan houses adorned with elegant patios. Its mansions and palaces bear witness to several centuries of history marked by Moorish domination, the Catalan Reconquest, the rise of the Aragonese and raids by Berbers.
