The exterior of this 14C building has been embellished with Renaissance and Baroque additions. The façade, an accomplished arrangement typical of the Baroque style, is a harmonious fusion of columns and curved lines. The imposing bell tower was completed in the 18C. Inside, the Capilla de los Vélez (off the ambulatory) is a sumptuous late- Gothic chapel, with splendid star vaulting and wall decoration with Renaissance and Mudéjar motifs. In the museum, note the Saint Jerome by Salzillo.
