By a quirk of fate, the house of Lope de Vega, where the dramatist wrote a number of his plays, is in Cervantes Street. Neither of them would have appreciated this reconciliation as they hated each other. But the Spanish sense of irony knows no limit: Cervantes is buried in the Trinitarian Convent, which is located in Lope de Vega Street!
