Palace del Lloctinent : The Michelin guide review

This palace (1549-1557)was used as a residence for the «king's lefttenants, or viceroys of Catalonia, as they were know after the unification of Spain. Its three facades are harsh and bare. The late Gothic style is dominated by Renaissance elements, an its a typical example of 16C architecture. You will see the beautiful Italian inspired patio which is completed by a stair case covered with a finely carved wooden roof.
