On the Nueva square stands the west facade, neoclassical in origin and created in the 19C. The wonderful 16C east facade by Diego de Riaño looks over San Francisco square. It is in the pure plateresque style. An exquisite, delicate and classical decoration (fantastic animals, grotesque figures, medallions with effigies, shields) covers the architraves, the columns, the pilasters, the pendentives of the arches and the surround of the openings.
