St Joseph's chapel : The Michelin guide review

This delightful chapel is a masterpiece of the Baroque in Seville from the end of the 17C. On the corner of Sierpes and Jovellanos streets, you will see the facade (18C) and its conspicuous belfry wall decorated with tiles in a clear blue colour. St Joseph and the baby Jesus dominate the entrance. Inside, the exuberant Baroque ornamentation reaches its peak in the apse. The large retable in the presbiterio is the proof of a great ornamental exaltation in the centre of which is St Joseph.
