In this pedestrianised street, no doubt the most famous in Seville; you will find a multitude of traditional and modern shops. In the afternoon, the animation reaches its peak as the people of Seville promenade there happily window-shopping or having a bite to eat in one of the famous pâtisseries. During times of great heat, the street is covered with an awning which keeps the atmosphere cooler. At the end of the street is La Campana, a famous sweetshop founded in 1885.
