Moguer
: The Michelin guide review
Perched on a hill on the left bank of the River Tinto, the aristocratic town of Moguer, with its elegant Gothic and Baroque mansions, tranquil avenues and charming nooks and crannies, is bathed in the famed clear light of the Huelva region. Situated on the “Columbus Route”, Moguer is also the birthplace of the winner of the 1956 Nobel Prize for Literature, Juan Ramón Jiménez, whose verses adorn attractive panels dotted around the town centre.
