Madraza (Old town hall) : The Michelin guide review

The university of the Koran was built in the 15C by Yusuf I and ceded by the Catholic Monarchs to the town council after the reconquest. Notice the facade (18C) belonging to the last phase of the Baroque Grenadine style as well as the decoration of the large balconies on the upper floor. Inside, the old oratory of the Madraza, restored in the 19C has some polychromatic stucco, some small stalactite vaults and an attractive octagonal roof with a lantern.
