San Pablo : The Michelin guide review

The church was part of the old convent of St Paul founded by Ferdinand III. Inside, three great spaces with harmonious proportions have preserved the transitory style from the Romanesque to the Gothic in spite of the alterations. You will notice the superb Mudejar craftmanship of the vaults ; the statue of Notre-Dame of the Agonies 17C by Juan de Mesa ; as well as the box ceiling and the walls covered with stucco on a lower level of tiles on the Mudejar chapel of the 15C.
