The largest Archaeological Museum in Andalusia is set in an exceptional site the Renaissance Palace of Páez, by Hernán Ruiz 16C. It contains prehistoric remains, Iberian and Visigothic, a Roman collection and Hispano-muslim works of art. Not to be missed: the cerf by Medina Azahara and the Mozarabic belfry of the Abbot Samson (10C), an individual collection of well curbstones both Muslim and Mudejar, the impressive Musicians capital.
