Travel guide Alcúdia
Alcúdia
: The Michelin guide review
Alcúdia is surrounded by 14C ramparts and guards the access to a strip of land separating the Bay of Pollença from the Bay of Alcúdia. The fortified walls retain the modified Porte del Muelle or Xara gate, leading to the port and, on the other side of town, the San Sebastián or Majorca gate. Inside the ramparts, some streets have retained their old charm, including windows with Renaissance decoration.
