Strandvägen : The Michelin guide review

The very eclectic palaces and mansions on this fashionable Stockholm esplanade were built in the late 19C. They were designed for the wealthy industrialists, wood barons and press magnates who had made their fortunes thanks to the recent industrialisation of the country. Beyond the Djurgårdsbron (Djurgården Bridge) on the right, Strandvägen forms a curve, passing in front of the Nobel Park, where specimens of most of Sweden's deciduous trees grow.
