TOURISM
This imposing palace grew up around a keep built around 1200; at least 200 people work in this veritable rabbit warren of 608 rooms. The king and queen run their offices from here and the palace is used for official functions, but visitors are able to discover its glories in the Royal apartments, the guest apartments, the throne room, the Royal arsenal and the treasury room.
