Travel guide Lund
Lund
: The Michelin guide review
Thought to have been founded around 990 by the Danish King Sven Tveskägg, Lund was made a diocese in 1050 and the archdiocese of Scandinavia in 1104. It is the second oldest university town in Sweden. Buildings from different periods line the narrow streets filled with a large student population, particularly during the colourful traditional events held here. Its cathedral, as well as several museums, make this an extremely interesting place to visit.
