Arken - Contemporary Art Museum : The Michelin guide review

This art museum, shaped like a ship emerging from dunes, is mainly dedicated to painting. Its nautical architecture, designed by Søren Robert Lund, plays an important role in the visitor experience. The central aisle, the “axis of art”, is the main exhibition area. Concerts are held in another room, and the café has a lovely sea view with windmills in the distance. Contemporary Danish, Nordic and international works are presented in temporary exhibitions, which are often organised in pairs.
