Haderslev : The Michelin guide review
Haderslev is a thriving town and pleasant tourist centre 15km from the coast, on the banks of a narrow fjord of the same name. Its key position on Jutland's main north-south road played an important role in the town’s commercial development. In 1292 the town was granted a municipal charter and from then on its history is punctuated by events which highlight its importance. Between 1864 and 1920 the town was annexed to the Duchy of Schleswig-Holstein under Prussian rule.
