Huddled between Strøget to the south and the parkst to the north and east, the "Latin Quarter" of Copenhagen revolves around the University, which was based on the English colleges and the Cathedral of Our Lady, that stands opposite. The district is partly pedestrianised and the narrow streets are lined with bookshops, fashion boutiques and cafés. It is an ideal place to wander, stopping off at spots like Gråbrødretorv, a little square full of tables and parasols during the summer.
