Botanical Gardens : The Michelin guide review

This superb garden (entrance on the corner of Øster Voldgade and Gothersgade) was created on land made available when the fortifications were demolished. Dotted with large greenhouses housing palms, cacti and orchids, shaded by venerable old trees and adorned with an artificial lake, Botanisk Have also has an alpine garden and a small Botanical Museum which presents a fine collection of plants native to Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
