Parque das Naçoes : The Michelin guide review

Transformed into a 21C leisure park, the site of Expo98 covers 60ha to the northeast of the city, by the Olivais dock on the River Tagus. This vast urban renewal project is converting a previously polluted industrial zone into a new town. In total, the programme takes in 340ha and 5kms of river frontage, with residential buildings, offices and businesses, a marina and gardens. Work is expected to continue until the year 2020.
