You reach the Serra de Caramulo's highest point (1,075 m) after walking up a rocky path with 130 steps cut into it. This is also an excellent belvedere over Serra de Lapa in the northeast, Serra d'Estrela in the south-east, Serras de Losã and de Buçaco in the south, over the coastal plain in the west and the Serra de Gralheira in the North. At the belvedere of Cabeço da Neve (995 m), there are bird's eye views over the plain and mountains as far as the Serra d'Estrela.
