The Rivers Pradnik and Saspowka meet in a deep valley, its slopes constituting some unique scenery dominated by forestry. Exploring its paths reveals a limestone landscape, dotted with some 400 caves and rock formations with wondrous names like the club of Hercules, Krakow gate and the Panienskie (nuns). The prevailing microclimate favours mountain plants which in turn support some varied wildlife, notably deer and bats, the symbol of the national park.
