Isaac Synagogue star : The Michelin guide review

Italian architect Giovanni Battista Trevano and stucco specialist Giovanni Battista Falconi are responsible for this majestic Baroque synagogue, created between 1638 and 1644 for rich merchant Izaak Jakubowicz. The external staircase allowed women to access the gallery reserved for them. A Jewish archive is currently being established here. As well as access to a huge library, visitors can see films on the history and daily life of Krakow’s Jewish community.
