Archdiocese Museum star : The Michelin guide review

The future Pope John-Paul II lived here as Karol Wojtyla from 1952 to 1963, before taking up residence as bishop in the adjoining apartments of the incumbent’s lodgings until 1967. Many come here to see his study where personal mementoes are on display. The main focus of the museum is its collection of sacred art: paintings and sculpture including a fine series of 14C-15C Virgin and Child compositions, goldware and liturgical vestments.
