Industrion : The Michelin guide review

This museum features the evolution and links between industry and society. It is dedicated mainly to the mining industry, which dominates the area: marl (cement), clay (ceramics), gravel and coal. A visit to a working class house with one room gives a glimpse of the miserable life led by the miners. Visit a mineshaft with a former miner and hear about his work. The machinery from the original metallurgical factory of Stadskanaal is in working order.
