Brewers' Canal (Brouwersgracht) star : The Michelin guide review

This peaceful canal is blessed with a series of picturesque bridges. It is named for the numerous breweries that livened up its banks in the 17th and 18th centuries. Today its former warehouses, beautifully restored, have been turned into accommodation. The facade of the Kroon warehouse, at number 118, is adorned with a stone sculpted into the shape of the Imperial crown. Near the bridge at the confluence of Brouwersgracht and Prinsengracht there is fine house dating from 1641.
