TOURISM
One of Florence's busiest squares. Dominated by the church and cloisters, the campanile in the background and a statue of Dante in the foreground, it is reminiscent of a bygone age, with fine old buildings, including the remarkable Cocchi Serristori Palace (1469-74), whose twin pilasters and angle consoles give the impression of a distended façade, and the corbelled façade of the Antella Palace (1619-20), decorated with frescoes.
