Octagonal Hall : The Michelin guide review

Recently restored, this superb brick octagonal room (its cupola recalling that it served as a planetarium in the 1920s) was probably a frigidarium (cold room in baths complex) or ancillary area. Today it houses some important Antique statuary: the Resting Pugilist and Hellenistic Prince are two rare examples of bronze statues that have survived intact down the centuries (c 3C BC).
