Most of this " National Roman Museum ", covering the end of the Republican and the Imperial eras, is exhibited in this palace. You will find sculptures there, notably the famous Augustus draped in his great pontiff's gown or Lancellotti Discobolus, but also frescoes from the House of Livia and Villa Farnesina, authentic ancient painting masterpieces. Mosaics, numismatic and silver or gold plate complete the collections.
