Forum of Caesar : The Michelin guide review

Centrally located at the foot of the Capitol and not far from the Forum Romanum, the Forum of Caesar cost 100 million sesterces, which Caesar financed thanks to his triumph over the Gauls. The three columns are vestiges of the Temple of Venus Genetrix, a veritable museum in its day housing a statue of Venus, a gold statue of Cleopatra, and Greek paintings. Part of the forum remains unexcavated beneath Via dei Fori Imperiali.
