Rimini
: The Michelin guide review
Once a destination for the rich and famous, Rimini is now an internationally renowned and popular seaside resort. It also has an illustrious past, as witnessed by many of the monuments in the historical centre, such as the Tempio Malatestiano. Artists such as Leon Battista Alberti and Piero della Francesca worked in the court of Sigismondo I in Rimini; Giotto’s work in the town helped to develop a Rimini School of art; and more recently, the film director Federico Fellini was born here.
