Sadly much damaged by the bombing in 1944, this 13C church has been rebuilt in the original Romanesque style and preserves (in the Orvetari chapel) fragments frescoes by Mantegna which give you an idea of the powerful vision of this artist, as well as, in the chancel chapel are some splendid frescoes by a Venetian disciple of Giotto, Guariento.
