Bay of Naples : The Michelin guide review

Covering 80km from Pozzuoli in the north to Sorrento in the south, the Bay of Naples makes for an expansive panorama: to the west the Phlegraean Fields with their intense geological activity; to the south the wild and rugged Sorrento peninsula (cliffs and deep gorges). Between the two the vast bay has ancient villas and modern seaside resorts, and the islands of Capri and Ischia on the horizon. Not forgetting Vesuivius, the majestic, threatening and omnipresent mountain.

superbe ! unique ! mais il faut quitter la côté , à sorrento , monter jusqu à Sant Agata sui due Golfi et redescendre vers Positano : et la ..... vous serez éblouis chaque virage ( et il y en a !) tenez bien votre droite ...arrêtez vs chaque fois que vs le pourrez : c est une MERVEILLE !! 5 années que j y séjourné avec le même bonheur !
