The 'Amalfi drive', zigzagging over hair-pin bends, is said to be Europe's most spectacular stretch of coastline. Enjoy the views before visiting the towns of Amalfi and Ravello.

Enjoy the exquisite drive to the town of Amalfi. Keep your camera close by for snapshots of the Mediterranean Sea and clusters of white houses clinging to the precipitous hillside.

At Amalfi, visit its striking cathedral, standing majestically atop a great flight of steep steps. Continue to Ravello which nestles in the mountains; a cool eleven hundred feet (335 metres) above sea level. Here, visit the Villa Rufolo, which provided inspiration for Richard Wagner's operas. Stroll through the villa's gardens, soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. You can also view the scenery from a different perspective–with a gentle boat ride along the coast.
