The town of Pompeii, snuggling in the sweeping shadow of Mount Vesuvius, was almost completely buried when the volcano fiercely erupted in 70AD. Experience Roman life as it was 2,000 years ago by strolling around the exquisitely preserved ruins and listening to your guide's commentary. Then, the sightseeing continues onto Mount Vesuvius. Dominating the Bay of Naples; Mount Vesuvius is the only active volcano on the mainland of Europe.Important: Listed rates do not include admission to Pompeii.

Listed rates do not include admission to Pompeii. Admission is guaranteed but an entrance fee of 11 Euros must be paid at the entrance to Pompeii. Customers must make their own way to the departure location. European citizens younger than 18 or older than 65 are admitted for free; to benefit from this discount, you must present your passport as photo identification. Commentary is available in English only. Children age 2 and younger participate at no charge.
