TOURISM
The palace of Cardinal Frederick Borromeo, built in 1609, has one of the world's richest libraries, and an art gallery founded on the collections of the Cardinal, who had very good taste: Here, you will find works by Bernardino Luini, Raphael, Bramantino - with a very curious painting in which the role of the Virgin is held by a bearded woman (!), Bergognonne, and a fascinating still life by Caravaggio; and a few Flemish and Dutch paintings.
