  Il ristorante al primo piano è in ottima posizione e molto elegante. Servizio cortese e attento. Menù con piatti della tradizione e qualche spunto innovativo.

  Pros

  The Capuccino was excellent. The setting is nice. The service is pleasant.

  Cons

  Agree with previous couple. Quality of the meat, mozarella was in comparison to price insufficient. Wine is quite overpriced and was not at right temperature (should be an easy one to solve). For this price you would expect higher quality of ingredients.

  The maître was very friendly and fluently spoke English, French and Italian.

  Cons

  Quality and price are totally out of balance here. As a couple we paid 300 EUR. In Belgium you can eat in a 1 michelin star restaurant for this amount of money. Perhaps they charge you extra money for the location in the center of Milan. However, keep in mind, that you are looking straight at the McDonalds when eating in the restaurant. The food just is not good enough to justify this amount of money. We have bin in quite some 1, 2 and 3 michelin star restaurants so we know what we are talking about. My advice: don't go there!

  Pros

  20090830 The Risotto Milanese was outstanding if you don't look at the tag. All courses where without complaint, in contrary each was a surprice in quality. The wine list provides a wonderful selection and good wines by the glas. The setting of the Café/Bistro in the ground floor is nice in general keeping up the traditional Italian restaurant. We have not been upstairs in the restaurant (open only evening) as it was lunchtime.

  Cons

  Espresso €5 is extremely overpriced, even considering the place. The sight of a rotten MacDonalds is not pretty but it's not the restaurants fault.
