Cathedral of St Lorenzo star : The Michelin guide review

Initially built in the 12C and worked on until the 16C, the cathedral has a splendid Genoese Gothic façade. The majestic interior includes the chapel of St John the Baptist and the famous “Sacro Catino”. The canons’ cloister houses the diocesan museum of sacred art, presenting archaeological finds, sculpture (tomb of Cardinal Fieschi), mainly Genoese paintings, reliquaries and liturgical vestments.
