These small baths date back to Augustus’ reign. Visitors see the men's baths with palestra, changing rooms, frigidarium with frescoed ceiling, tepidarium and caldarium, then the women's baths with waiting room, changing rooms with mosaic pavement depicting Triton, tepidarium with a fine labyrinth floor mosaic, and caldarium... Virtually nothing has changed since that fateful day in the year 79AD.
