Castello (Castle) : The Michelin guide review

This castle was built on top of the ruins of a Roman temple by the Visconti family and subsequently strengthened with bastions. The lion of Saint Mark at the entrance relates the suffering that Brescia endured because of Venetian domination. The Luigi Marzoli arms museum, set up inside exhibits an interesting collection of arms and armour from the 14-18C.
