This 8C church was rebuilt in the 17C. The interior has a surprisingly unconventional design. That of a hexagon comprised in a half-star decagon. If this is hard to imagine go and see the cloister for yourself with its admirable colonnades supporting Moresque style arcades, and the museo del Sannio in one of the outbuildings, which accommodates important archaeological collections and a beautiful collection of paintings from the Neapolitan school.
