Chester Beatty Library star : The Michelin guide review

Sir Alfred Chester Beatty (1875-1968) established one of the most beautiful collections of Islamic and Far Eastern art in the world. A small part of it is permanently exhibited in a building on the edge of the gardens of Dublin Castle. It includes Arabic, Persian and Turkish manuscripts, including over 270 copies of the Koran, illuminated by some of the greatest calligraphers of the Islamic world.
